As your city councilman, my office is an institutional change agent committed to carving new paths and carrying forth-fresh ideas to advance the city’s mission to serve, protect, promote and defend our citizens in their pursuit of a better life.
I describe myself as supporting American progressivism. I protect social programs, labor unions, consumer protection and workplace safety regulations, equal opportunity and racial equality and regulation against pollution of the environment. I support the women’s right to choose. I support an easier pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. I tend to agree with the scientific consensus on climate change and support clean energy and cap-and trade policies
